Ugandan Protester Arrested in Nakuru Following Demonstration

Police have confirmed the arrest of a panga-wielding protester who was captured during a recent demonstration following the shooting of Daniel Nderitu, a local resident.

Details have emerged that the suspect, who went into hiding after the incident, is not a Kenyan citizen but a Ugandan national.

"I arrested the suspect in the Hilton area of London Estate, and we identified him as Hassan Mtimkavu, alias Paul Ositi, a Ugandan national," said Nakuru West Sub County Police Commander Stephen Kirui.
